WHAT IS SOUTH BRUNSWICK TECHNOLOGY PARK?

South Brunswick Technology Park is a proposed data center development thoughtfully planned to create rural prosperity for Brunswick County, VA.

Plans include on-site energy generation, water-efficient cooling, no need to draw from a local aquifer, and substantial setbacks, landscape buffers, and screening to minimize noise and visual impacts and preserve the county’s rural character.

New investment means local opportunity.

The project would generate significant new tax revenue, create new jobs, and invest in a public water system for Brunswick County.

DO YOU HAVE QUESTIONS?

Get transparent answers and information.

How will the project use water?

The project will use a closed-loop water recycling system, similar to a car radiator or refrigerator, or similar. This significantly reduces water consumption. Current plans also eliminate the need to draw from a local aquifer. Once operational, water use will primarily support ordinary employee needs - sinks, restrooms, and other uses.

How will this project fit into Brunswick County?

We understand the desire for Brunswick County to stay the beautiful rural place that it is. Preserving that character is an important part of this project. Significant setbacks, landscape buffers, and screening are planned to minimize noise and visual impacts on neighboring properties.

Is the project using nondisclosure agreements?

No. No FOIA necessary. Unlike other developments, our team is not using NDAs when communicating with the county. We believe our project should be discussed openly so the community can understand the plans, ask questions, and make informed decisions. You’ll find all our project information right here.
